A mother’s loss
My friend lost her boy,
her son,
her baby,
yesterday.
Shana, of gorillabuns, and her precious family, lost their 3 1/2 month old, Thalon.
Whether it be by prayers, thoughts or a small donation to help them with funeral and medical expenses, please do something.
It could have been anyone of us.

I think we are still in shock around here. It is just so unbelievably heartbreaking. You are right, it could have been any of us…
Thinking, wishing, hoping I can make it for any sort of service they have. I just feel an overwhelming need to be there and do whatever I can.

This is shocking. I can’t stop thinking about Shana. I started reading her blog when you hosted the baby shower for her. I have become a fan. I can’t begin to imagine what she is going through.

Can I ask what happened?
There is no definite word on what exactly happened. We do know she went to check on him during a nap and he had to be revived using CPR. He passed away in the hospital, in her arms, two days later. The rest is still unknown.

I only recently starting reading Shana’s blog, yet I’m so heartbroken for her. What a shock. I’ll keep praying for her and her family, for the strength to get through this.
